The choir at St. Paul the Apostle in New York is a wonder. I always leave mass with one of their songs in my head. This week I recorded part of one because it so moved me. Here is a snippet:

Very nice and soothing. Perfect for current events.
How lovely. I am not familiar with that one.
Drives me nuts when I leave Mass and a I find myself humming a certain song all day long!????????????
Thank you for passing on this holy earworm. I appreciate your place in our culture in this particular moment in time.
Awesome!
Beautiful song. I am brought to tears during several songs at Mass. “Be not afraid” and “I am the Bread of Life” are two that are so meaningful to me.
I am the Bread of Life is a great favorite of mine. I’ve never been able to find a version in the real world that I like as much as the way they perform it at my church.
While the music touches my soul, it’s the fact that I’m listening to it from a personal recording that inspires me the most. To be tethered to humanity from a line created by a man searching for his own personal connection to inspire others offers us hope. Although we’re reliving some dark days from our history, with more kindness and connections we can persevere.
I was thrilled to learn that you’re going to be a correspondent on 60 Minutes. I’ve wondered for years why you weren’t the evening news anchor, but at least I’ll be seeing you on 60 Minutes.
